Tell us a bit about yourselves
We’re a family-owned and family-run dry cleaning and laundering business and have a long history of working with customers. My name is Naem and I run the business with the help of my wife, Faiza. Sometimes my niece helps us, too.
We’re originally from Pakistan.

Why Chorleywood and when did you come here?
We came here in 2020, at the start of the first lockdown. We chose Chorleywood because it seemed like a friendly and supportive community, and we knew we’d have the best kind of customers here.

What are your hopes for the future of your business?
We’re already known for our excellent dry cleaning service and expertise. And we now have customers from the surrounding areas, as well as the village itself. Our aim is to become the best dry cleaners in the area.
We hope to expand to other locations as well.

What’s the best piece of advice you can give to customers?
Our best customer tips are to do with stain removal. We advise that stains are dealt with as soon as possible, because the longer you leave them, the more stubborn they become. For example, you should treat blood, red wine and food stains immediately with cold running water. If you do this, the stains should disappear straight away. We also offer all our customers free advice on anything to do with dry cleaning, such as whether items are suitable and what results to expect.

What specific services do you offer and do you have any special offers?
We are a full-service dry cleaners and launderers. Our main services are dry cleaning, alteration and repairs and laundry. We also offer a collection and delivery service.

We often change our special offers depending on what we think would appeal most to our customers at a particular time. Currently, we’re offering to wash and iron five shirts for £11.99 – that’s less than £2.50 per shirt!
